How it works
Three steps.
Give us access to your books.
We run your accounting in WolfePak today. If you'd rather stay on QuickBooks, we can work alongside it, or we can convert you to WolfePak. Full QuickBooks integration is coming soon, so ask us about pricing.
Send bills and statements as they come.
Forward vendor bills and buyer check stubs to your RedBird address. Or reply to our text with a photo or a file.
You approve. We close the month.
You approve every payment before it goes out, unless your agreement says otherwise. We close the books, and you get the Monthly Compliance and Close Report.
Compare
The old way vs RedBird.
The old way: Well details spread across files and folders.
With RedBird: Each well set up with its RRC lease number, API number, and buyers.
The old way: Costs and sales mixed across wells.
With RedBird: Each well keeps its own accounting and ownership records.
The terms, in plain English.
- RRC lease number
- The number the Railroad Commission of Texas gives each lease.
- API number
- The ID number every well gets. It stays with the well for life.
- Purchaser
- The company that buys your oil or gas and sends you a statement with each payment.
- Property ID
- The code we use to tie every bill and payment to the right well or lease.
Questions.
Why does each well need its own records?
Costs, sales, and owners can be different for every well. Keeping each well separate means every bill and every payment lands in the right place.
What do you need from me to start?
